Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units while ensuring compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations. Diagnose basic failures, install onboard computers, and inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings. Complete thorough documentation for all work orders and parts used through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Road call services are performed as needed. Requires 2+ years of heavy-duty vehicle repair experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
