Job Summary

Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units, including root cause analysis, repairs, and computer installations. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings, then complete thorough documentation for all work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system. Ensure equipment maintains required licensing and registration before road deployment. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Perform road call services as needed. Complete and perform minor repairs and standard component inspections. Support America's food distribution system through essential work.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
