Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, including diagnosing root causes of failures, repairing onboard computers, and inspecting brake systems, steering, and wheel bearings. Change oil, check batteries, and lubricate equipment using hand and power tools while ensuring all equipment meets licensing and registration standards before being deemed roadworthy. Complete thorough documentation for work orders and parts usage through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Perform road call services as needed. Work a four-day week with specific evening and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
