Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, including inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings. Diagnose basic failures and execute repairs using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Complete thorough documentation for work orders through the online Enterprise Asset Management system and ensure equipment meets roadworthiness standards. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication. Perform road call services as needed to support fleet operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration
