Diesel Mechanic Class B Technician (3-4 Day Work Week)

Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, including inspections, repairs, and root cause analysis for basic failures. Install, replace, and repair onboard computers while inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings to ensure roadworthiness. Execute routine tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication using hand and power tools. Complete and document all work orders in the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Road call services are performed as needed. This role supports America's food distribution system at Performance Food Group, a distributor serving restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and schools.
