Job Summary
Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units while ensuring compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations. Perform preventative maintenance, inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings, and replace parts as needed. Complete thorough documentation of repairs and maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system and perform road call services. Install, replace, and repair onboard computers using hand and power tools. Train other employees and perform other related duties as assigned. This role supports America's food distribution system within a safe, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 5 - 7 Years
- 5+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair
- a minimum of 2 years' experience in A/C refrigeration
