Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic in Charger Logistics' Service Department based in Brampton, ON. Responsibilities include receiving driver and owner/operator reports, conducting initial inspections to diagnose problems using test drives and instruments, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks (including air and hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc.), repairing and reconditioning equipment, and ensuring equipment is back up and running efficiently while following Charger safety procedures. Requires mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, knowledge of truck parts/equipment, and familiarity with DOT/MTO rules; strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time-management skills are essential.
