Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic position with C.R. England in the Fort Worth area. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor systems (diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, electrical, suspension, tires); using computer systems (TMT, TMW, internet) to manage work orders and time; moving equipment around the yard; maintaining safety and a clean work environment; delivering superior customer service to drivers; and participating in on-the-job training and development opportunities. Benefits include a $5,000 experience bonus, weekly pay, and a range of company-sponsored perks and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Substantial diesel technician experience or heavy duty military mechanic experience with tanks, LAVs, or 5-ton vehicles can take the place of trade school
- Must provide your own roll-a-round storage and hand-tools
