Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mixers and heavy-duty diesel equipment at the Dalton plant. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on brakes, air systems, air conditioning, tires, hydraulic systems, and suspensions. Read and comprehend service and repair manuals while utilizing own basic tools. Read and comprehend service and repair manuals while utilizing own basic tools. This role focuses on keeping the ready-mix concrete plant and diesel-powered equipment running safely and efficiently. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Must have own basic tools
- Must be able to read and comprehend service and repair manuals
- Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs such as brakes, air systems, air condition repairs, tires, etc.
- Understand and have knowledge in hydraulic systems
- Understand suspensions
- Basic troubleshooting
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferably)
- Knowledge working on Ready Mix Trucks (Preferably)
- Experience in diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles (Preferably)
- Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 2 year (Preferred)
- Diesel engine repair: 2 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 year (Preferred)
