Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and maintain GFL's Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas fleet to ensure vehicles remain road-ready. Conduct basic inspections of brake systems, engine components, and emission systems, then test drive trucks to verify malfunctions. Perform standard electronic diagnostics, repair electrical and hydraulic equipment, and complete DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles. Execute work orders, order parts, and maintain clean work areas while adhering to safety regulations. Requires a Brake safety certificate, 609 A/C certification, and 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a Brake safety certificate
  • 609 A/C system certification
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and other related state and federal regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and communicate with customers and external vendors
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
  • Must be computer literate
  • Willingness and ability to be trained in software systems
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using diagnostic software is preferred
