Job Summary
Maintain the mobile equipment fleet in readiness by performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines. Diagnose faults using computerized test equipment to determine required repairs, then dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment with hoists and hand tools. Clean, lubricate, and examine parts for damage, while scheduling maintenance and keeping service records. Adhere to all safety protocols, including lock-out-tag-out and confined space entry, and prepare daily operating reports.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing heavy industrial equipment such as Mack fleet trucks, rollers and/or pavers
- Prior experience with diesel equipment
- Ability to determine the cause of operating errors and to identify solutions
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ability to determine the appropriate equipment for the task at hand
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators
- Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
