Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks and troubleshoot and repair equipment issues including engine, electrical, body, wheels, brakes, suspension, and interior. Answer driver's telephone requests for assistance with equipment failure while out on the road. Maintain and repair all equipment to ensure operational readiness. Shifts run 10 hours, with initial two-week trial Monday-Friday (06:00–14:30) followed by rotating 4-day schedules (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday) covering early morning, afternoon, or overnight hours. Payrate is $34.00 with a possible $3,000 retention bonus. Valid DOT physical and CDL required; refrigeration certification is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair
- Valid DOT physical card
- CDL driver's license
- Certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment
- Ability to work full-time
- Ability to work any shift
