Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel trucks and CNG equipment. Estimate time and material costs for repairs while adhering to Standard Labor Repair Times and responding to emergency service calls. Perform safety checks on vehicles, maintain a clean work area compliant with OSHA standards, and complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. Assist senior mechanics with project work and review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. This role involves fixing equipment that services over 20 million customers across the USA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
