Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel equipment and CNG trucks. Estimate time and material costs for repairs, perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times, and respond to emergency service calls. Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards. Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times, while assisting senior mechanics on project work. Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Work Monday through Friday on the 2nd shift with occasional Saturdays in a repair shop in Bennington, NE.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid drivers license
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
