Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel trucks and CNG equipment. Estimate time and material costs for repairs, perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times, and respond to emergency service calls. Conduct safety checks on vehicles, complete required paperwork for parts usage and repair times, and assist senior mechanics on project work. Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports while maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards. Perform frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling in both indoor shop and outdoor conditions, including exposure to dirt, odors, and weather extremes. Work Monday through Friday between 10am and 12pm at a Hardeeville, SC repair shop.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
