Job Summary
Join A. Duie Pyle as a 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic, where you will maintain, diagnose, and repair Class 8 trucks, including performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting various systems such as brakes and electrical components. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in heavy truck repair, a complete set of tools, and a willingness to learn. Competitive pay starts at $30 per hour, with potential to earn up to $45 based on experience, plus benefits including paid vacation, medical insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
- A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience
- Ability to work independently with a 'can-do' attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow abilities
