Job Summary
Mobile Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician performing roadside maintenance and repairs from a fully equipped Mobile Service Vehicle. Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel trucks and fleet equipment, ensuring repairs meet applicable DOT standards, and maintain accurate records using company systems. Operate service tools safely, communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team leads, and work independently in a mobile setting. Requires 1–3 years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience, High School Diploma or GED, willingness to obtain CDL or NYS Heavy Duty Inspector’s License, valid driver’s license/MVR, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, basic computer skills, and availability for evenings/weekends. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Minimum 1–3 years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, kneel, crawl, and work in various physical conditions
- Must be comfortable working alone in a mobile setting with limited supervision
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet browser)
- Must own tools necessary to perform mobile repair and maintenance work
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CDL License and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspector’s License a plus (not required, but willingness to obtain is necessary)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed
