Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and forklifts, conducting routine inspections to identify mechanical issues. Change fluids, replace worn parts, and lubricate moving components while diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot diesel, gas, and LP engine problems using diagnostic software and technical manuals. Repair brakes, masts, transmissions, steering components, and attachments to ensure equipment meets safety standards before operation. Maintain proper repair records throughout the 3-year contract. Working hours are 48 weeks per week from Monday to Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma
- 26 to 45 years
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Diesel/ Forklift Mechanic
- Experience in truck and forklift mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Driving Licence: Group 6 and 9
- Hindi and English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
