Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and overhauls on diesel trucks and forklifts. Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while troubleshooting engine-related issues. Replace worn parts, change fluids, and repair brakes, transmissions, and steering components to ensure safe operation. Maintain proper repair records and verify equipment meets safety standards before release. Requires Group 6 and 9 driving licenses, ITI or diploma, and minimum three years of relevant experience. Located in Fiji with a monthly salary of 70,000 INR.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma
- 26 to 45 years
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Diesel/ Forklift Mechanic
- Experience in truck and forlift mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Driving Licence: Group 6 and 9
- Hindi and English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
