Diesel Fleet Technician

Job Summary
Perform repairs on trucks and trailers, conduct preventative maintenance, inspect and test vehicles at maintenance intervals to DOT standards, and maintain brakes, braking systems, and related chassis components. Complete annual inspections and ensure equipment remains in state-compliant condition. Schedule includes Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call and overtime; evening and weekend availability required. Requires at least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience, welding experience, valid driver’s license, and air brake certification. DOT Inspector Certification is preferred; must have proper tools and be able to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
