Job Summary
Diesel Heavy Duty Fleet Mechanic plays a critical role in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel-powered trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components; performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance; maintaining CMMS records; ensuring compliance with safety regulations including DOT and EPA requirements; assisting in inventory management; collaborating with the maintenance team; and providing on-call support for emergency breakdowns. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred; 1 year of experience with heavy-duty vehicles (2-5 years preferred); CDL preferred but not required; flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles is required; Would like to see 2-5 years.
