Job Summary
Experienced Diesel Fitter to relocate to Australia and work on a FIFO 2/1 roster with Black Cat Civil. Responsibilities include servicing, maintenance and repairs of CAT heavy earthmoving equipment across remote regions; on-site diagnostics, fault finding, and rebuilds of engines, transmissions, and components. Role involves field service, commissioning new machines to site specs, and maintaining service documentation. Requires trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent, with 2+ years post-trade experience; CAT equipment experience is highly regarded and ARC/HR/HC licenses are advantageous. Relocation support is provided; permanent full-time opportunity with competitive pay and long-term development.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Mobile Plant Technology (Cert III or equivalent).
- Minimum 2+ years’ post-trade experience.
- Experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment and civil construction machinery.
