Job Summary
The Diesel Electric Mechanic position involves performing preventive and predictive maintenance on mobile and stationary mining equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems. Applicants must be able to work in adverse conditions and possess strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related experience or training
- Ability to pass OSHA and/or MSHA training
Desired Qualifications
- Air Conditioning Certification
- Experience with Komatsu 830E / Liebherr T282B haul trucks
- Experience with LeTourneau L2350 & L1100 loaders
- Previous experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance
