Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs based on driver pre and post trip inspections. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and computer equipment, then correct malfunctions through adjustments, alignments, and hydraulic component replacements. Perform lockout/tagout procedures and build mechanical components while maintaining records to ensure safety and reliability. Work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow to repair vehicles and stationary equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
