Job Summary
Diagnose and repair advanced mechanical and electrical systems on fleet and commercial diesel vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and air brake assemblies. Perform preventative maintenance inspections and DOT safety checks to ensure fleet compliance, utilizing OEM diagnostic software to identify faults. Accurately document all repairs and parts used on repair orders while maintaining a safe workspace adhering to OSHA guidelines. Requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, current ASE T-Series certifications, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience working as a diesel/commercial vehicle technician
- Must possess a comprehensive set of personal hand tools and air tools appropriate for commercial vehicle repair
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet company motor vehicle report standards
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely
Desired Qualifications
- A degree or certificate from an accredited diesel technician program
- Current ASE Certifications (Medium/Heavy Truck T-Series)
- OEM factory training
