Job Summary
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair of communications and electronic systems for the U.S. Navy’s telecommunications infrastructure. Responsibilities include supervising corrective maintenance on High Frequency Global Communications System equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, documenting and tracking maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with Navy safety protocols. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory position. An understanding of Navy maintenance programs and telecommunications systems is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications or electronic systems maintenance
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong understanding of Navy maintenance programs and telecommunications systems
- Skilled in equipment lifecycle management and Navy technical procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
