Job Summary
Install, remove, setup, and troubleshoot molds and auxiliary equipment to ensure production readiness and minimize downtime in a high-volume plastic injection molding environment. Maintain quality standards through efficient mold changes and machine setups while adhering to safety protocols for frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail. This hands-on role supports our manufacturing team's operational excellence in a clean, comfortable environment with opportunities for technical growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, and twisting for extended periods.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding or mold setting.
- Experience with mold changes, machine setup, and auxiliary equipment.
- Forklift and/or overhead crane certification.
- Technical training in plastics manufacturing or a related field.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
