Job Summary
Ensure sufficient dies are in ovens based on the production schedule and transfer them to and from the inventory system. Recycle failed dies quickly, place dies in caustic solution to clean aluminum residue, and assist with die flow movement for staging. Utilize a crane system for loading and unloading caustic tanks, operate the caustic system when needed, disassemble dies for rinsing, and run the automatic media blasting machine. Adapt to changing press schedules as required. This entry-level role involves working either the 7pm to 7am or 7am to 7pm shift with rotating days and weekends. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work either shift: 7pm to 7am with rotating days and weekends
- Must be able to work either shift: 7am to 7pm with rotating days and weekends
- Must be able to pass a preemployment physical and drug screen
- Must be authorized to work in the US, sponsorships are not available
- Must have regular attendance
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement, volume and distance
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Desired Qualifications
- Additional technical or vocational training in machining, machine operation, or related fields is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred
- Forklift Operator's license and have prior forklift experience is a plus
