Job Summary
Pull and set production and sample tools per schedule while coordinating with supervisors and schedulers. Set process parameters for technicians using process books and conduct material changeovers, prioritizing these tasks over other duties. Clean presses and areas thoroughly after mold changes and material swaps, then transport molds to and from the tool room. Perform moisture analyzer tests to determine material dryness and check dryers for correct temperature settings. Identify all hoppers and material bins by lot and number, stage materials for job changeovers, and keep the molding department clean to prevent contamination. Fill out necessary checklists and forms, communicate concerns regarding molds or equipment to technicians and supervisors, and give breaks to machine operators as scheduling allows. Maintain a valid forklift license and operate a crane, completing all safety training. Shift runs from 2:50pm to 11:05pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Maintains a valid forklift license
- Operates and passes safety training for a crane
- Ability to operate crane
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Highschool GED and previous die setting experience preferred
