Job Summary
Disassemble and reassemble Punch & Pack tooling, remove worn components, and install approved replacements according to established work instructions. Clean tooling and fixtures, perform basic visual checks, and escalate damaged items or abnormal conditions to technical personnel. Stage components, retrieve kits, and organize inventories for production changeovers and scheduled activities. Transport tooling to production or storage locations while maintaining clean work areas per 5S requirements. Cross-train on production operator tasks as needed. This role supports manufacturing operations at the Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center, which handles 235,000 sq ft of power tool accessory production including abrasives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to lift (up to) 40lb. boxes
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- General Math skills
- Ability to multitask
- Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience in machine operating
