Job Summary
Die Maker Journeyman role at General Motors in AMBOY, IN. Required Qualifications
- U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate in Die Maker trade OR six years of documented experience as a Die Maker
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete GM hiring process requirements including assessments, hair drug testing, and background check
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work flexible shift hours including day, afternoon, or night shifts with overtime
- May be filled as Journeyperson or Journeyperson in Training; compensation varies by status
- GM does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role
- Physical ability to perform tasks as described (standing for extended periods, able to lift up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to operate hi-lo and overhead crane
- Basic computer skills
- Read blueprints for die repair/fabrication
