Job Summary
Conduct daily die-cast operations support including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and die rebuilds. Execute machine downtime solutions, efficiency improvements, and component part rebuilds while performing crucible replacements. Collaborate with the Die-Cast Maintenance Team Leader to reduce downtime and support robot recovery and training activities. Participate in required training to master assigned job duties and maintain safe, efficient production standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or any combination of equivalent experience and education
- Manufacturing experience utilizing team-based problem-solving techniques
- Mechanical aptitude and strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Self-starter who works well with others and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude
- Good time management skills and discipline to self-prioritize daily activities
