Job Summary
Die Cutting Operator I (Day Shift) at Mill Rock Packaging supports the Die Cutting Department by preparing loads for die cutting, assisting in machine changeovers, and moving loads in and out of the die cutter. You’ll assist the Die Cutting Operator III by loading stock into the feeder, inspect die cut products for errors, perform quality checks in accordance with the quality system, and assist with tooling setups (top/bottom stripping pins, machine blankers) and routine maintenance. The role emphasizes hands-on tooling and machine operation, with duties including tooling storage, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting overtime as needed. Preferred qualifications include GED or high school equivalent and the ability to stand for extended periods, with a schedule of 3 days per week (12-hour shifts) and potential overtime. The position is full-time, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and includes benefits such as PTO, 401K contributions, short/long-term disability, life insurance, and other growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Equivalent preferred
- Must have stamina to stand and move about the workstation during the shift
- Adept at working with your hands on tooling and machines
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills
- Passionate and positive “can do” attitude and loves to work with your hands
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- 3 days/week 12 hours shifts (Full-time)
