Job Summary
Die Cutting Operator I in the Die Cutting Department assists in setting up tooling, machine changeovers, and loading stock for die cutting. You will off-load die cutter, inspect each load for die cutting and printing errors, perform quality checks, and maintain tooling storage. Responsibilities include using the centerline system for proper tooling setups, setting up top/bottom strippers and blankers, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with routine machine maintenance. The role requires basic manual dexterity, the ability to read gauges and measure materials, basic computer skills, and the stamina to stand and move about the workstation for extended periods. This is a full-time position with a 12-hour shift schedule (3 days/week) and occasional overtime. The role is based in St. Paul, MN, USA. Mill Rock Packaging is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have stamina to stand and move about the workstation during the shift
- Adept at working with your hands on tooling and machines
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills
- Passionate and positive “can do” attitude and loves to work with your hands
- Willingness to work overtime when the workload makes it necessary to cover others on vacation or absent or help get a big job out the door
- GED or High School Equivalent preferred
