Job Summary
Inspect dies before and after each run, operate flatbed die cutters at peak capacity, and monitor specifications to ensure quality adherence. Maintain machine and parts in daily operations, make minor adjustments, and assist with major setups to ensure efficiency. Own outbound die cut quality, maintain food safety through pallet handling, and follow 5S standards. Adhere to all safety policies, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions or major quality issues to the Shift Supervisor. Maintain production records, adhere to schedules, and monitor output targets. Work overtime as job requires.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in English
- Ability to stand 90% of shift
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Close vision
- Color vision
- Distance vision
- Depth perception
- Peripheral vision
- Knowledge of how to perform basic quality checks
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and understand instructions and job information
- Ability to work overtime as the job requires
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating manual and electric pallet jacks
- 1 year experience as a Die Cutting Assistant
- Fluency in Spanish
- Desire to accept additional responsibility and learn new tasks
