Job Summary
Prepare loads for die cutting by checking part numbers and loading stock into feeders, then off-load the machine and inspect every load for errors. Perform quality checks in compliance with system requirements, use the centerline system for tooling setups, and configure top strippers, bottom stripping pins, and blankers. Store tooling in organized areas, maintain clean workspaces, and assist with routine machine maintenance. Work exclusively in the production area handling light and heavy equipment, with mandatory hearing protection due to elevated noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 35-40 pounds
- Possess an ability to work together as a Die Cutting Team
- Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position
- Adept at working with your hands on tooling and machines
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day
- Show a willingness to work overtime when the workload makes it necessary to cover others on vacation or absent or help get a big job out the door
- Exposed to elevated noise levels throughout work shift, hearing protection use is mandatory while in production area
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a printing plant
- GED or High School Equivalent preferred
