Job Summary
Die Cutting Operator II (DayShift) at Mill Rock Packaging is responsible for setting up and operating a die-cutting machine to produce high-quality cut packaging pieces, performing make-ready adjustments, conducting quality checks per the quality system, overseeing Die Cutting Assistants, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, a GED or high school equivalence, ability to read job instructions, strong attention to quality, and the stamina to work 12-hour day shifts, with overtime as needed. The position includes safety-focused responsibilities, teamwork within the die-cutting department, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- GED or High School equivalent
- Ability to read and understand job instructions, including custom job requirements
- Able to stand and move about the work area all day
- Excellent endurance
- Basic computer skills
