DIC PET/CT Technologist

Job Summary
Performs Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and SPECT/CT exams, prepares radiopharmaceuticals for prescribed exams, and administers via venipuncture or IV. Prepares patients, screens for pregnancy, ensures IV contrast consent, and positions patients for imaging per SOPs. Generates and labels images for radiologist review, conducts quality control on radiopharmaceuticals and dosing equipment, manages radioactive waste per NYS regulations, and maintains accurate documentation. Requires graduating from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, NYS licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, ARRT(R.T.) or NMTCB CNMT, and ARRT(R.T./CT) or NMTCB(CT) certification, plus BLS. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Current New York State Department of Health licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- R.T.(N) registration with ARRT OR CNMT registration with NMTCB
- Current R.T.(CT) registration with ARRT OR NMTCB (CT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification
- Prior experience in Nuclear Medicine
