Job Summary
Welcomes patients and visitors and handles front-desk functions; maintains clinic operations including updating/maintaining medical records, preparing patient records and charts for treatments, auditing records for compliance, entering charges and preparing billing and attendance logs, and completing forms/reports for governmental agencies. Maintains supplies/inventory, directs lab slips to the appropriate laboratories, and coordinates transportation arrangements as needed while supporting overall patient care and clinic efficiency. Requires strong computer skills (Word and Excel) and the ability to organize time and tasks efficiently, with proficiency in US Renal Care applications within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred
- Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel)
- Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire
