Job Summary
Set up dialysis machines, couple patients to equipment, and monitor treatments while adhering to safety procedures for chemicals and reprocessing. Clean and reprocess dialyzers, refer identified problems, and communicate with patients, families, and staff as delegated. Perform other unit tasks under direction from the registered nurse, supervisor, or manager. Shifts run Monday through Saturday from 0500-1530 or 1515-2345 on a per diem basis with variable scheduling. Direct-care employees float to other clinics as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of High School Diploma (or GED or advanced degree)
- One year of dialysis experience
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for Monday - Saturday shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine
- Must be able to float to other clinics, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Education in the science field
- Prior direct patient care experience
- Prior phlebotomy experience
