Job Summary
Provides direct patient care including treatments and diagnostic studies as directed by a Registered Nurse. Performs functions related to disinfection of hemodialysis machines and to the water purification system and portable reverse osmosis machines. Ensures accurate, complete, and timely entry of patient registration and account data in the hospital system. Works as a care delivery team member across Lehigh Valley Health Network facilities (Allentown, Lehighton, Bethlehem) with emphasis on safety and quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of experience with provision of patient care activities including treatments and/or diagnostic studies
- Ability to perform safe direct patient care as directed by the registered nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
