Dialysis Technician II - Neuro Expansion

Provide specialized support for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) treatments for acutely ill patients in the ICU and hospital. Perform dialysis solution preparation and packaging, document and sample dialysis equipment, maintain treatment supplies, disinfect equipment, and serve as a 24-hour ICU resource for alarms or questions. Assist with basic equipment issues and troubleshooting; draw bio samples; stock supplies; manage dialysate bags and acid concentrates; support 5S zone responsibilities; contribute to clinical research projects; monitor central water systems; and teach/support other staff. Shift is 12-hour days from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with weekends and every other holiday rotation. Minimum qualifications include a state CDT certification and current BLS; two years of IHD experience; a high school diploma or GED. The position is located at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Cleveland, OH, and supports a comprehensive neuroscience-focused expansion within the Neurological Institute.
