Job Summary
Prepares patients for dialysis treatment by obtaining weights and temperatures, then transports them to the station and returns them to the lobby post-treatment. Cleans and disinfects machines and bay areas, mixes acid or bicarb, stocks treatment bays and warehouses, and manages sharps containers and oxygen tanks. Processes patient lab work, opens and closes the facility, and participates in cost containment activities while completing required in-service programs. Requires frequent standing and bending. Full-time role in Lexington, NC with a flexible schedule and on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Successful completion of classroom orientation quizzes and final exam
- Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and bend for prolonged periods
