Job Summary
Direct patient care in a dialysis setting, operating and monitoring hemodialysis equipment for 3–5 patients at a time, performing pre/post-treatment tasks, and ensuring safety. Roles include preparing water and bicarbonate for treatment, checking chlorine levels, recording patient stats, and providing patient education. The technician works as part of a cross-functional team under RN supervision, with shifts starting as early as 4:00 am and potential travel to nearby clinics. Location is Ashtabula Dialysis Center with potential postings at Kingsville, Madison, and Painesville clinics in Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory
- Health care experience including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
