Job Summary
Dialysis Support Technician needed to support direct patient care in DaVita clinics. Responsibilities include assisting dialysis patients to and from the dialysis chair, applying blood pressure cuffs, and ensuring chairs and treatment areas are cleaned and disinfected between patients. Day-to-day tasks include stocking the treatment floor, creating CVC packs, offering phone support, and collaborating with clinicians and leadership to maintain a safe clinic environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, comfort around COVID-19 positive patients, ability to work across multiple clinics, flexibility to cover mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, and adherence to PPE protocols. Open to per diem, temporary assignments with a focus on patient-centered kidney care and clinic safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be ok with working around potential COVID-19 positive patients
- Passion for helping others
- Must be comfortable being around blood and needles
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Willingness to work across multiple clinics in your area if needed
- Must wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE) provided by DaVita
