Job Summary
Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis; supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns; educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and standards of care; building rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery; collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation setting; opportunity to access ongoing education, tuition reimbursement, and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience required
