Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis within an inpatient dialysis unit. Responsibilities include supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns. Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery. Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards of care to support high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- CRRN certification preferred (If you don't have it, we can help you to obtain it!)
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience required
- 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred
