Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis within a state-of-the-art dialysis suite. Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. Educate nursing staff on dialysis patient care, dialysis equipment, and standards of care. Build meaningful relationships with patients to support their physical, mental, and emotional recovery, leveraging interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance outcomes. Access ongoing education opportunities and work within Encompass Health’s supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- CRRN certification preferred (If you don’t have it, we can help you to obtain it!)
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience required
- 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred
