Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to inpatients needing hemodialysis; supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns; educate nursing staff on care of the hemodialysis patient, equipment, and standards of care; build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- CRRN certification preferred
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience
- 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred
