Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis; supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards of care; build rewarding relationships by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery. Work within an interdisciplinary team in a state‐of‐the‐art dialysis suite at Encompass Health, leveraging opportunities for professional growth and patient impact.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- CRRN certification preferred (If you don‘t have it, we can help you to obtain it!)
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience required
- 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred
